Document readiness

Know what to keep, why it matters, and what is still missing.

The dashboard checklist connects important records to executor tasks and date-of-death preparation. Store only what is necessary, keep originals safely, and review documents after major life changes.

ID and civil-status records

Identity documents, marriage certificates, antenuptial contracts and divorce orders help confirm who the deceased was and how the estate must be administered.

Latest signed will

Keep the original signed will accessible and record where it is held. An unsigned draft or old copy may not be enough for administration.

Property and vehicle records

Title deeds, bond statements, valuations, vehicle papers and finance details help establish ownership, value and secured debt.

Policies and nominations

Keep current policy schedules and verify nominated beneficiaries directly with providers. A will does not necessarily override a valid nomination.

Bank, investment and business evidence

Recent statements, account references and ownership records help the executor find, value and administer financial interests.

Instructions and contacts

Record funeral preferences, executor contact details, guardian intentions and trusted family contacts without exposing unnecessary sensitive data.
